Cromwell Vets has a long-established reputation for providing the highest standard of care for pets alongside compassion for their owners. We enjoy many partnerships with charities and are active in the community often spending the summer at local events and dog shows. We value professionalism and friendliness which means we have loyal customers and high staff retention. We value all our Associates and hold regular team events including BBQs, pumpkin carving competitions and bake offs.
With our six unique sites spanning the Huntingdon area, we are fortunate to be able to offer a varied caseload where nurses can fully utilise their skills alongside our vet team, many of whom hold certificates. Although some of our branches are smaller in scale to our main hospital site we pride ourselves in the continuity of care whatever door you walk through. This service continues 24/7 with our highly experienced and dedicated night team.
A Cromwell nursing role includes a large scope of nursing duties, incorporating the management of complex medical and surgical patients, consulting, assisting with the provision of anaesthesia and schedule III procedures, as well as supporting the patient journey from admission to discharge. Our veterinary surgeons appreciate and respect the nursing team, valuing their professionalism and input creating a working environment where everyone can thrive.
The Clinical Nursing Manager (CNM) role includes a wide breadth of clinical duties alongside protected non-clinical time so you can develop your team and be fully involved in the senior leadership of the practice. We are looking for someone who will thrive in a fast-paced, progressive environment and can lead a team of RVNs, PCAs and SVNs to build on the fantastic strength they already hold. You will work together with a Group Nursing Manager (GNM) and another CNM to line manage a team of Lead Nurses, so we are looking for someone with proven line manager experience.
