About the opportunity
We are looking for a HR Consultant, for a fixed term of 12 months. You will provide a generalist HR service to the business to enable delivery quality service to our clients. You will support HR and ER matters across the employee lifecycle events and business changes/projects, as well as coach Management on HR related matters to ensure consistency of approach, best practice & support company culture. Ensuring policies and processes are legally compliant and any legislative changes are implemented in a timely manner will also be within your responsibilities.
This role may be based in Glasgow or Warrington.
Accountabilities:
* Support all people managers and employees (Blue and White collar)
* Consult with managers on people related matters/ providing operational HR support
* Support Employee Relations case work
* Support Requests for HR support and advice escalated through Global People Services
* Provide Management coaching, guidance and support
* Employee relations and performance management
* Retaining and engaging employees
* Employee development and career life cycle
* Change management- Restructures, Redundancy, TUPE, Office Collaboration and Closure
* Absence Management & Wellbeing
* Annual HR Processes - Salary Review, Employee Performance Review
* Draft new company policies and procedures and review current when required to ensure compliance with employment legislation implementation or changes
* Lead on Data Statutory Requests
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Trade Union Representatives
Requirements
* CIPD or Equivalent Experience
* Generalist HR with proven experience In Employment Law, Change Management, Management Coaching.
