Position: Digital Marketing Manager - Web Content
As Digital Marketing Manager - Web Content, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation & delivery of our Web & Search strategy, managing the wider website team to deliver on all aspects of website content management & data-driven Search Marketing strategy. You will work with the wider Digital team on best-practices for the execution of cross-channel marketing initiatives through these channels & optimising the associated online guest journey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Search Agency Collaboration: Lead the SEO aspect of the search agency scope, collaborating to utilise their expertise & resource in conjunction with the capability and resource of the internal web team to drive an optimal web content approach.
2. Web Content Plan Ownership: Lead responsibility for web content production, working alongside the paid media team to drive both organic & paid web acquisition.
3. Online Guest Journey: Working across the entire Stonegate website estate, drive a frictionless journey for the guest at all web touchpoints.
4. Web Measurement & Reporting: Own the protocols for measuring success of key website metrics, define measurement framework & ensure reporting is supporting us to keep the business informed on performance.
5. Local SEO: Overall management of content for Google Business Profiles & equivalent local SEO opportunities, across both the managed and operator estate. Work with agency on action plan to develop visibility.
6. Team Management: Management of 5x Digital Content Executives within Website Team. Raise the floor & Raise the Ceiling for Digital: Manage ongoing training plan for the web team including self-driven learning.
7. Budget & Resource Management: Responsible for web team budgets & management of SEO resource with agency. Requirement to raise & manage PO's where appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience in managing digital marketing channels. Website CMS experience is essential. Previous people management experience is essential. Understanding of Digital Marketing principles & a data-driven approach at all times - experience of Web Analytics, Search Console etc. is preferred. Proven Search Marketing experience is desirable, preferably both organic/SEO & paid/SEA. High level of organisational skills and ability to multitask & triage requests from multiple stakeholders. Manages own time effectively. A wide understanding of the digital marketing industry & the need to be data-driven, measurable & objective in everything we do. The ability to translate Digital metrics into meaningful outcomes & insight for the wider business & with commercial objectives in mind. A clear view of where & when respective metrics & KPIs are relevant. Strong written communication & presentation skills. A confident, collaborative approach, with no fear of challenging the status quo.
