For both roles, we are looking for nurses who are enthusiastic and motivated, who can demonstrate a caring and compassionate attitude, and who have a desire to provide high quality, effective and efficient patient care.
You must work well in a team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and relatives/carers. You will be required to be receptive to change, dynamic, and demonstrate active assistance and support when working as part of a team.

As part of the role, you will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients designated to your care. You will be expected to supervise non-registered staff as stipulated by the NMC under the requirements of delegation and always work to the NMC code and Trust policies and procedures.
You will be expected to provide effective leadership and assist with the management and organisation of the ward/department in the absence of the ward manager or junior sister/charge nurse, whilst complying with the Trust's vision, values, and behavioural compact.
You must have the ability to provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information, be able to work as part of a team as well as the ability to work without supervision.
