The Compensation Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of Sirva’s compensation plans. In partnership with the Director, the Compensation Specialist will implement, communicate and administer Sirva’s global compensation program and incentive plans. This role will work closely with other HR functions to collaborate and inform on compensation decisions.
Description of Duty
Compensation Analysis:
* Conduct ad-hoc market analysis to gather data on appropriate salary ranges and benchmark against competitors
* Effectively summarize market data to internal customers and provide appropriate salary recommendations
Job Description Management:
* Establish and maintain global job description library for all internal roles
* Analyze new job descriptions to determine appropriate salary range
* Effectively manage new and existing job codes in Dayforce to maintain compensation structure
Pay Grade Maintenance:
* Maintaining existing roles within pay grades to ensure internal equity across job levels
* Appropriately classify new jobs within grade structure to ensure equity across job levels
* Keep structures updated/maintained as jobs evolve and are added to the organization
Merit and Incentives Management
* Key support role in the merit cycle, including system set up, tracking and management to deadlines, and communication with leaders and employees
* Responsible for design and ongoing management of the company’s incentive plans.
* Partner with leaders to build plans that tie performance goals to business goals/financial targets
* Processing and tracking monthly/quarterly/annual payments
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
* Minimum 3 years experience in Compensation field
* Excellent analytical skills with ability to analyze large datasets, interpret information and draw accurate conclusions.
* Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and be flexible to changing priorities
* Driven to learn and expand skill set, motivated to achieve results
* Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with members of the HR team as well as cross-functionality.
