We are recruiting Paediatric Emergency Department Staff Nurses at Maidstone Hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated NMC registered Paediatric staff nurses to develop their skills in emergency care. Working within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will deliver a high standard of care to patients in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
You will receive a comprehensive emergency department induction and ongoing support from our Practice Development Team, who will guide you in achieving your learning goals and consolidating your previous experiences.

To be considered for this role, you must be a Registered Nurse (Paediatric) with at least six months of post-qualification experience. Newly qualified nurses with Paediatric Emergency Department placement experience will also be considered. Candidates must be able to demonstrate recent and ongoing professional development and possess a kind, compassionate, and highly motivated approach to patient care.

All successful applicants will be required to complete our corporate trust induction once a start date had been agreed.
Following your corporate induction you will be expected to attend the Trust’s 2-week Induction Programme for RNs, NAs, RMs, ODPs and Paramedics. The programme is full-time (please email if this is problematic) and will involve travel to both Trust sites. The programme includes supernumerary shifts in the clinical area, classroom-based sessions and e-learning.
