About the Role
A leading provider of water hygiene and air services is seeking a Business Development Manager to support business growth while delivering an outstanding customer experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to develop their career in a fast-paced and growing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the first point of contact for new water hygiene business enquiries, ensuring a professional and welcoming approach.
2. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, proactively engaging with prospective clients.
3. Manage the full sales process, from preparing and following up on quotes to closing deals and renewing service contracts.
4. Provide technical support to the wider sales team.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
6. Develop an understanding of legionella control and air services to upsell effectively.
7. Work towards monthly KPIs and contribute to marketing efforts.
Essential skills and experience:
1. Sales experience in a water hygiene-related role.
2. A proven track record in generating new business and growing existing accounts.
3. Strong administration and organisational skills.
4. A high level of IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office 365.
5. A good understanding of water hygiene legislation and guidance.
6. Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to manage time effectively.
