This is a new role within a small team, ideally suited to a candidate seeking a step up from a the position of Supervisor or moving into their first management position. Very much a hands-on role, on a full time (5 day) basis, daytime working, hours will be discussed at interview with a degree of flexibility to accommodate commitments. The hours will include weekends, with Monday/Tuesday as permanent days off (with the exception of bank holidays). The position with focus upon meal preparation and delivery, maintaining high standards, supporting team members and ensuring safe practice. Whilst the majority of shifts will be kitchen based, there is an expectation that you will also support and complete some shifts on a front of house basis, with a strong focus on great customer service. Our entire team works across both kitchen and front of house, there is no separation of roles, with an emphasis on a full kitchen and service skill-set for all employees.
We are a busy year round operation, with an extremely loyal customer base, most of whom are regular visitors, this is very much a sociable job and should appeal to individuals who enjoy interacting with customers and have a genuine interest in great service and building relationships.
I am very fortunate to work alongside a fantastic friendly team, the continued growth of our business has allowed this role to be created, I look forward to welcoming a new member to join us.
Consideration will be given to candidates who may require flexibility to hours/days, start/finish times. We currently open Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm, whilst busy every day, weekends attract more custom, the successful candidate must be available to work Saturday and Sunday each week.
