We are looking for Tutors with SEN experience to join our talent pool at TP Tutors. We are specifically looking in the Hull area for tutors to take on the tuition we are getting in Hull and the surrounding areas. As a tutor, we will need an engaging, charismatic and friendly approach to the tuition, as well as the ability to provide a focused and impactful session for the young person.
The pay for tutoring is £25-£30 per hour. It is desirable for the applicants to hold a full UK driving licence as a selection of the pupils may need to be tutored within their home/at a local library.
Requirements for the role:
1. Professional Teaching Qualifications are preferred (Qualified Teacher Status, QTS) but not essential.
2. A solid grasp of the English Language to convey themselves to students.
3. A desire to promote and encourage, as well as motivate themselves.
4. An Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided).
5. Experience of working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH and other additional needs.
6. An excellent understanding of the SEN curriculum (all Key Stages).
7. Professional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.
