We are an independent nursery and have numerous opportunities to foster and develop the innovative ideas of our staff.
We listen to children and encourage them to think of their own theories. The play rooms are set up in a way for children to test their hypotheses as we believe this is the best way to learn.
The nursery itself has three light and welcoming playrooms with lots of natural, open ended and reclaimed resources to explore, a large spacious garden and access to surrounding fields all of which positively impact, inspire and nurture the inquisitive mind of every child.
We work with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which allows us to support the children’s development in the seven areas of learning, taking inspiration from Forest School, Reggio Emilia and Montessori which embed the principles of respect, responsibility and community through their own play, discoveries and exploration.
