Working with our Key Account Management team to acquire, penetrate and retain the end user sites of our largest customer accounts. Key point of contact for end user sites, coordinating customer trials, preparing cost analysis and presenting product proposals in order to gain new business. This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain fast experience in commercial sales, whilst learning from numerous, experienced Key Account Managers.
This role will work across multiple customers and segments, in the Midlands and North of England.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working alongside the Key Account Management team to identify key end user sites for acquisition, penetration, and retention.
* Coordinating customer trials on site to show benefit of KC solutions vs competition.
* Preparing product proposals and presenting to the key customer personnel.
* Identifying key end user sites for retention, monitoring and regular check-ins.
* Able to work in both hybrid and F2F manner, utilising technology where appropriate to maximise working time. Able to travel regularly to visit customer sites in person.
* Using data to make informed decisions on “at-risk” sites and new penetration opportunities.
* Embracing digital technology (video, social media, eCommerce) to identify leads and business opportunities.
* Builds a strong network of relationships within customer accounts (e.g., General Manager, EHS, Procurement, Ops, bid teams) to influence decisions at various levels of the customer organizations.
* Reporting back to Key Account Management team on end user site performance (updating KC Customer Resource Management system with reference data).
