We’re a fast‑growing analytics consultancy dedicated to delivering end‑to‑end data‑driven solutions that transform how organizations operate. Our multidisciplinary teams combine deep technical expertise, strategic insight, and industry know‑how to help clients unlock new value from data.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a proactive Full‑Stack Data Science Consultant to own client engagements from discovery through delivery. You’ll build production‑ready machine learning systems, leverage generative AI capabilities, and architect scalable data pipelines on AWS—while leading small teams of data scientists, liaising directly with stakeholders, and ensuring solutions align to business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Delivery
2. Implement backend services using Python (Django preferred) to serve ML models via RESTful APIs.
3. Build scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, S3, SageMaker, Glue, Redshift, ECS/EKS).
4. Leverage Generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, fine‑tuning) to prototype and deploy advanced NLP/AI applications.
5. Act as primary client liaison: gather requirements, facilitate workshops, present technical recommendations to executives.
6. Mentor and guide junior data scientists and engineers—conduct code reviews, share best practices, foster continuous learning.
7. Quality & Best Practices
8. Ensure code quality via CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and robust documentation.
9. Drive adoption of data governance, security standards, and reproducibility across projects.
10. Stay current on emerging AI/ML trends; evangelize relevant capabilities internally and externally.
Minimum Qualifications
1. 2+ years professional experience as a Data Scientist, Data Science Consultant, or similar role.
2. Hands‑on experience with Generative AI: LLM APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face), prompt engineering, model fine‑tuning.
3. Demonstrable AWS expertise: data storage, compute, ML services, infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation/Terraform).
4. Software engineering background: Django (or equivalent Python web framework), REST API development, relational & NoSQL databases.
5. Proven ability to own workstreams, manage client relationships, and lead cross-functional teams.
6. Excellent written/verbal communication; ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
2. Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
3. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), version control best practices.
4. Consulting experience at a technology services firm or Big 4.
5. Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Looker) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery).
What We Offer
1. Competitive salary + performance bonus
2. Flexible work schedule & remote-friendly culture
3. Collaborative, inclusive team environment
4. Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI/ML engagements
