Strong Electrical, Control, Automation, and Instrumentation skills with knowledge of 3 phase LV systems and HV distribution. To support and help deliver all Electrical & Automation activities across site. The job holder will support CAPEX/Revenue projects, be responsible for delivering Reliability, Site services, improving process performance through OEE improvements. Duty Holder for site Electrical distribution system, ensure legal compliance with maintenance of Fixed Electrical assets, High & Low Voltage Obsolescence: Identifying-aging assets planning upgrades based on OEM life Cycle (PLC, HMI, Controls & Instrumentation) Ensure correct use and feedback through SAP to create history and working knowledge of the process. Good project management skills with experience of Management of Contractors. Develop forward plans to improve the process availability and deliver reliability to a greater proactive and forward focused state. Utilising tools such as RCA, Pareto, FMEA etc. Control & delivery of 'Shutdown' maintenance plans & on time Execution. Experience of Root Cause Analysis and selecting strong countermeasures to prevent re-occurrence of issues. The Novelis Latchford plant a suburb of Warrington Cheshire in England employs approximately 200 employees. It is one of Europe’s largest aluminium used beverage cans recycling plants and Europe’s largest closed-loop recycling operation for automotive aluminium rolled products with an annual recycling capacity of up to 195000 tonnes. The plant is an essential part of Novelis’ European production and collaborated with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) to create the first closed-loop system in Europe with a dedicated railway service to efficiently deliver aluminium between Novelis and JLR’s production site in the UK.
