You will join the business as an FP&A Manager, overseeing a large team of 9 Controllers globally, analysing trends of KPIs particularly in relation to financial metrics including sales, expenses and profit margins.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop themselves further and work within an established business reporting directly to the CFO with strong exposure to the wider Group and SLT.
Salary negotiable depending on experience
Remote role with rare travel (once per month) to the Derby site
Full time - Monday to Thursday 8am to 5 pm, Friday 8am to 1pm

About the role
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing a team of 9 Controllers globally
2. Analyse the trends of key performance indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenses, and profit margin
3. GM analysis
4. Monitor KPIs and identify the cause of any unexpected variances
5. Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts + 5-Years Business plan
6. Work with business stakeholders to co-ordinate the annual budgets & relevant budget models
7. Ad-hoc business performance reporting
8. Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments
9. Implement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports
10. Develop financial models and analyse them to support strategic initiatives
11. Support the management team and Department Leaders with data-driven analysis
12. Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions
13. Dive deeply into financial data to provide additional insights
14. Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
15. Serve as a liaison for the investor relations team, managing the earnings guidance scenario modelling, including executive presentation, Q&A support, and ad hoc analysis
About you:
You will have sound FP&A knowledge and experience, which is key to the role.
Applications will be considered from qualified, or suitably experienced QBE accountants with relevant experience.
General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles
Demonstrated experience of analysing financial reports and metrics
Demonstrated experience of solution resolution based on analysis
Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture for Group
Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication
Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
