Job Responsibilities
Business Development: Secure sustainable growth in line with Danfoss Climate Solutions’ strategic objectives. Drive profitable expansion across selected key accounts, ensuring growth and market share.
Sales Strategy: Develop tailored sales plans for each key account, aligning with Danfoss’ overall business targets. Continuously identify new opportunities to elevate our presence in the market.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with decision-makers across all customer functions, from senior leadership to technical teams.
Sales Execution: Lead customer development plans, sales strategies, and value propositions to meet the evolving needs of your accounts. Own the Opportunity Pipeline and Key Account Plans, ensuring steady progress toward targets.
Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Global KAM, Field System Engineers, Marketing, Quality, and Logistics, to drive customer success and implement global policies.
Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate reporting and sales forecasts, ensuring clear visibility into progress, potential risks, and growth opportunities.
Market Insights: Provide competitive insights and collaborate with marketing and business excellence teams to refine strategies and stay ahead of market trends.
Global Collaboration: For accounts with operations across multiple regions, collaborate with other KAMs globally to implement consistent strategies and align with Danfoss’ global vision.
Minimum Requirements
Education: A background in Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Experience: Demonstrable success in account management, sales, or business development within the HVAC & Commercial Refrigeration industry, ideally with a strong focus on OEMs.
Personal Skills:
- Proven expertise in managing complex customer relationships and driving results in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that achieve both short-term and long-term objectives.
- Experienced in working within global, multicultural teams, maintaining a flexible and collaborative approach.
- Skilled in working independently while also contributing effectively as a team player to drive overall success.
