Job Description
Integrated Logistics Specialist Lead required for a 7-8 month contract role, working for a global engineering contractor based at their project site in Dorset.
Candidatesmusthave extensive experience in the defence and electronics industries.
Role Description:
Reports to Deputy Engineering Manager
Lead for Integrated Logistics support activities.
Main POC for ILS both internally and for Customer liaison
Has ownership of the Reliability and Maintainability analysis, predictions and planning around spares and repairs, while meeting relevant mandates and statutory requirements
Responsible for input to and coordination of ILS activities throughout programme.
Key activities:
Create and maintain integrated logistics support documentation as required.
Support & Test Equipment (S&TE) Plan
Obsolescence Management Plan
Skills required:
* Analysing and allocating specification requirements;
* Writing specifications;
* Reliability analysis and prediction;
* Maintainability analysis and prediction;
* Planning and running maintainability/testability demonstrations including generation of plans & reports;
* Knowledge & experience of Technical Publications, both AESPs & IETPs;
* Experience / knowledge of ILS / RM&T activities & associated processes/standards;

Start date: ASAP
Duration: 7-8 months
Rate: c. £60 p/h PAYE - please note that role is inside IR35
Security Clearance will be required.
3 days per week on site, 2 days per week remote working.
Must be willing to travel to attend Customer working groups as required
