Healthcare Assistant NIGHTS Lancashire £11.44 per hour + 30% enhancement for unsociable hours (8pm - 6am) Full Time

About us: At Brainkind Neurological Care Centre Lancashire, we provide the care people need to optimise their health and wellbeing, maximise their independence and support their emotional and social needs. We provide specialist neurological care, rehabilitation and support tailored to the individual needs of people with a range of neurological conditions.
About the role:
1. Working with other team members to ensure optimum cognitive, social, emotional, physical and functional recovery. Ensuring that rehabilitation goals, strategies and procedures are implemented and reinforced.
2. Monitoring the physical and emotional well-being of all clients in order to be aware of changes and to alert senior colleagues as necessary.
3. Assisting in maintaining morale of clients by communication and contact – achieved by talking and working with them.
4. Ensuring accurate reporting and documentation.
5. Reviewing and making suggestions to enhance the individuals’ experience. Challenging practice as appropriate and supporting junior and new staff.
6. Promoting choice in the delivery of care and support. Enabling concerns and complaints to be raised freely by the individual and/or their representatives.
7. Supporting service users to have their views and experiences taken into account in the way the service is provided and delivered.
8. Facilitating the safe and smooth running of the Service, maintaining a safe working environment, maintaining service user confidentiality, and occasionally taking on reasonable additional tasks.
About you:
1. Proven experience of working within a team.
2. Care delivery experience.
3. Good communication skills.
4. Numeracy and literacy skills.
5. IT skills including accessing and using the internet, email and word.
Enhancements: 8.00 pm to 6.00 am (nights) 30%
