Contract: Full Time / Permanent - Monday to Thursday, 08:00am – 4:30pm & Friday, 08:00 – 14:00 (38 hours p/w). Flexible approach to this work pattern is required to work in the evenings and at weekends which can be mutually agreed in advance.
On call rota coverage will be required (approx. 1 in 3 weeks).
Travel within the UK will be required.

What the opportunity looks like:
The Maintenance Technician is required to create, action, monitor and feedback the distilling maintenance programme and respond to plant breakdown situations. This may include Invergordon, Tamnavulin, Fettercairn and Dalmore Distilleries in addition to all aspects of Invergordon Engineering.
Use of our Computerised Maintenance Management System to help create, action, monitor and feedback on all maintenance tasks.
To work with operators to aid distillation, filling, blending and storage of spirit which complies with Company, HMRC, HSE and customer requirements. To do all tasks within competence and training.
* Maintain plant operation and efficiency.
* Assist with minor and CAPEX projects.
* Respond to and resolve breakdowns and issues.
* Take ownership of and complete planned preventative maintenance tasks.
* Comply with all Health and Safety requirements.
* Work with and develop Standard Operating Procedures.
* Identify new Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks.
Skills and experience that will help you be a success:
For this role we're looking for:
* SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in relevant engineering discipline.
* CompEx Certificate EX01 - 06 desirable.
* Driving License is essential.
* Previous Industrial plant experience is desirable.
* Knowledge of engineering legislation such as ATEX regulations, PSSR, LOLER, etc.
* Have an excellent understanding of Health and Safety issues in an engineering setting.
* Competent IT skills including basic knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office package i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook.
