Wycliffe College is seeking to appoint self-motivated Examination Invigilators to work within our supportive team, as required during the school’s internal and external examination periods. Invigilators are responsible for a wide range of duties, including the supervision of candidates and supporting the Exams Officer in the effective planning and co-ordination of examinations and providing guidance to other Invigilators and pupils to ensure that examinations are conducted as instructed by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ).
You must be available to work as required during examination periods, generally during the months of November, January, February, March, April, May, and June as well as possibly during results release days in the summer.
For this role, training can be given should candidates have had no or limited invigilation experience before. Good preparation, though, would be a good understanding of the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) rules / requirements, as well as the ability to manage time effectively, complete tasks to a high standard along with good organisational and communication skills.
