Overview The Revenue Assurance Analyst plays a critical role in the Operational Finance team, focusing on maximising cash flow and minimising revenue loss. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who possesses strong technical skills and business acumen. The analyst will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies in financial and operational processes and ensuring that cash conversion is optimised across the organisation. The ideal candidate will be able to get involved in the detail of processes in a hands-on way to identify revenue/cash leakage issues, take short term ownership of the process to understand it, work through and implement enhancements and monitoring reports before handing the process back to the relevant teams. Key Responsibilities Process Analysis: Evaluate existing processes to identify gaps where cash may be lost, ensuring that all aspects are designed to maximise cash collection. Solution Delivery: Design solutions to reduce revenue/cash leakage from operational processes, implementing enhancements and embedding in the relevant team. Data Insight Extraction: Utilise advanced analytical tools and techniques to work with complex data sets, deriving actionable insights that support revenue assurance initiatives. Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on findings, including recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving opportunities. Project Management: Lead and support on various projects aimed at improving cash flow and operational efficiency, beginning with a focus on the Accrued/Deferred Income process and suspense accounts within the Eclipse billing system. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their processes and identify areas for enhancement that could impact revenue and cash flow. Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by “turning over rocks” to discover new opportunities for revenue assurance across the organisation. Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals. Required Experience and Skillset Experience: Minimum of 18 months’ experience in a financial or analytical role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau) and financial modelling. Experience with ERP systems is advantageous. Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically about processes. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
