Job Description
This role will support the production plan, ensuring timely delivery to meet department targets and quality standards. This permanent position is crucial for maintaining and implementing electrical maintenance tasks according to the schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install and repair systems, apparatus, electrical and industrial machinery and equipment following current electrical regulations, manufacturers' guidelines and technical drawings
* Carry out routine maintenance and scheduled checks set by Supervision and log and sign on the relevant documentation
* Respond immediately to equipment breakdowns
* Communicate issues and problems to senior management with relevant time scales for resolution of the issues
Job Requirements:
* Completion of a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or completion of a recognised vocational education programme in electrical or industrial electrical or industrial training
* Confident with principles of electronic theory as applied to electrical and electronic circuits, wiring and electrical equipment used in power generation
* Understanding of the theory of operation and use of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) units and other computer-based equipment
* Knowledge of methods, equipment and materials used in the electrical trade
Additional Information:
* Standard hours - Monday to Thursday, 6.45-4.30pm
* Fixed Term contract until December 2025
* PAYE - £17.07/h first 37 hours, £23.90/h After 37 hours
