This is a full-time, ongoing locum role that offers a competitive hourly rate and the chance to work in a well-established radiology department. You will play a key role in providing high-quality mammography services to patients, ensuring that all procedures are carried out safely and efficiently. The position is available immediately, with hours from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities: As a Locum Mammographer, you will be responsible for performing mammography imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. You will assist in the assessment and preparation of patients for imaging, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and operated. You will work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team, providing technical expertise and supporting the interpretation of results when necessary. Additionally, you will ensure that all patient records are accurately documented, and you may be involved in maintaining quality assurance standards in line with department guidelines. Qualifications and Experience: HCPC Registration as a Radiographer. Postgraduate experience in mammography. Strong knowledge of mammography techniques, equipment, and safety procedures. Experience in providing high-quality imaging within an NHS or similar healthcare setting. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
