Position Details Location: Leeds Start Date: ASAP Contract: Part-time Essential Requirements QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification. Eligibility to work in the UK. An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one). Experience tutoring or teaching in a secondary school setting Skills A passion for supporting students in their academic journey Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, resilience, and a student-centred approach Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Confidence in using technology and digital resources for teaching Ability to differentiate instruction for a range of abilities Responsibilities Provide targeted tuition in Maths and English to small groups and individuals. Assess student progress and identify areas for improvement. Develop engaging and interactive lesson materials. Offer structured exam preparation and revision sessions. Collaborate with teachers to align support with classroom learning. Track and record student progress for reporting and evaluation. Provide feedback to students and suggest practical ways to improve. Support students with literacy and numeracy difficulties. Implement strategies to boost reading comprehension and problem-solving skills. Support students in developing effective study habits.
