Corporate Governance Project Support Manager Band 5.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, proactive, and forward-thinking individual to come and join the Corporate Governance and Quality Team as the Corporate Governance Project Support Manager, based at Alder Hey Children's hospital.
The post is for 18 months (Fixed Term) 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
An integral part of the overall Corporate Governance and Quality Team, the post holder will provide support to the team in all aspects of its administrative, governance and compliance responsibilities and must be able to undertake these duties without direct supervision when necessary.
The post holder will have overall responsibility for managing, overseeing, and administering the Central Alert System (CAS), Document Management System (DMS) and weekly Patient Safety Meeting in addition to supporting both the Risk Management Manager and Clinical Audit and Effectiveness Manager in the delivery of their work portfolios as required.

Person Specification
* Educated to Undergraduate Degree level (or equivalent experience).
* Project Manager Qualification, such as Prince 2, or equivalent experience.
* Previous working experience of working within a governance team.
* Experience of using NHS Risk Management System.
* Experience of handling/storing confidential data.
* Experience of working with Standard Operating Procedures and adhering to protocols.
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft office programmes - access, excel, word, outlook, shared drives and accessing the internet.
* Experience of success in effective project and programme management - an ability to plan, manage and monitor according to the project framework.
* Experience of assisting with agenda setting, producing action logs and taking meeting minutes.
* Knowledge of Caldicott Principles, Data Protection and Freedom of Information. Effective understanding of Governance and its practical implementation in an NHS organisation.
* Excellent communications skills (oral & written), ability to deliver formal presentations and informal training.
* Ability to use and understand information systems, i.e. DMS, word processing packages, spreadsheets, databases, hospital information system and email.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with ability to prioritise tasks.
* Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team.
* Excellent report writing skills and organisational skills with the ability to respond effectively to multiple priorities.
* Certificate in Risk Management or Health and Safety.
* Experience of working as a team leader/manager who demonstrated the range of skills required for the post.
