PK Education are currently recruiting for an outstanding teacher for an SEN school based in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work full time in a SEN school starting ASAP to develop their practice in a supportive and caring environment. The school is smaller with a good Ofsted rating and specializes in supporting learners who may have a diagnosis of autism and some anxiety or mental health needs.
This school is looking for someone to work full time long term, covering both primary and secondary lessons. Some lessons are pre-planned, while others will require planning. Marking is expected, and PPA time is assigned.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional teacher with the ability to plan and deliver outstanding and creative lessons to maximize pupil engagement. They should be able to build and maintain positive relationships and create a safe and supportive learning environment that celebrates learning. The candidate will have high expectations of themselves and the students in their care, experience working with a range of SEN pupils, including ADHD, ASC, and SEMH difficulties, and be a strong classroom teacher.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent, ECT).
2. The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
3. Strong subject knowledge of your chosen specialism.
SEN Teacher Salary and Benefits:
Competitive rates of pay from between £110 to £235.00 per day (AWR Compliant). Paid weekly.
