This role is hands on and will require around 3 days per week in our office Must-Haves : Deep Understanding of Social Media : Proven knowledge of how to leverage social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) for content creation, engagement, and growth. Passion for Pop Culture : A genuine interest in music, art, fashion, and youth culture, with the ability to incorporate these elements into compelling content. Creative Thinker & Writer : Strong content creation skills, with the ability to craft engaging, on-brand narratives. Comfortable working independently or in collaboration on ideation for social media. Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience creating content for a brand, or a strong personal social media presence that demonstrates your ability to build and engage an audience. Organizational Skills : Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Copywriting Skills : Experience writing engaging copy for both organic and paid social media formats, with the flexibility to adapt tone and voice for different types of content. Youth Audience Engagement : Confidence and experience in engaging with youth audiences, understanding how to craft content that resonates and sparks conversation. Attention to Detail : An obsessive attention to detail in both visual and written content, ensuring all content reflects the high standards of the Chilly’s brand. As a Freelance Content Creator at Chilly’s, you will be responsible for ideating, creating, and executing social media content across primarily TikTok and Instagram as well as other platforms such as LinkedIn. You will also be contributing to our CRM email campaigns. You’ll manage content calendars, drive innovative campaigns, and engage with user-generated content (UGC) to strengthen our community presence. We’re looking for someone who is deeply in tune with the ever-evolving social media landscape, has a passion for youth culture, and is able to push the boundaries of creativity, integrating Chilly’s brand with music, art, and fashion. Key Responsibilities : Social Media Strategy & Content Creation : Manage Chilly’s social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring content aligns with the overall brand strategy. Ideate and create industry-leading stills, videos, and stories that resonate with our urban, creative, and active target audience. Map and maintain a dynamic content calendar, aligned with seasonal brand plans, partnerships, product launches, and cultural moments. Develop creative, social-first campaigns that integrate seamlessly with wider marketing initiatives, driving KPIs like brand launches, influencer collaborations, giveaways, and retail activations. UGC & Community Engagement : Monitor user-generated content from influencers, micro-influencers, and community members, identifying key posts to feature and integrate into the content plan. Engage with Chilly’s followers and wider community across platforms, fostering brand loyalty and excitement. Trendspotting & Cultural Integration : Keep a finger on the pulse of popular culture, with a particular focus on music, art, and fashion, identifying trends and cultural moments that align with Chilly’s brand and audience. Push the brand’s boundaries by integrating music, art, and fashion into content, further positioning Chilly’s as a leader in lifestyle and culture. Content Performance & Strategy : Track the performance of all social content, gathering insights and feedback to refine and inform future content strategies. Contribute to marketing campaign reviews, analyzing social media data to optimize engagement and brand presence across platforms. Collaboration & Campaign Development : Work closely with the wider marketing team, including Brand Managers, to develop cohesive and creative campaigns that align with the wider brand strategy.
