We are currently looking for a dynamic, motivated senior education lead to ensure the smooth running, progress and evolution of the King's Academy. The King’s Academy is a new education facility at Hinton road near Kings College hospital. This is an exciting role for a senior nurse or midwife; the successful candidate will be responsible for managing, developing, and expanding an offering of education courses and activities with the clinical specialists.
The post holder will be required to practice at an advanced level, capable of delivering all aspects of education including design, set-up, quality assurance, management, financial management (e.g. CPD), and recruitment/delivery. The post holder will require extensive experience leading trust education or practice development and working with HEIs and education partners as a lecturer practitioner.

The post holder will be the Lead Nurse/Midwife for Education & the King’s Academy. This role will be responsible for the maintenance and development of high-quality education for nursing, midwifery, and AHP staff, ensuring all regulatory standards are met.
The post holder will be an experienced, motivated individual with considerable experience in education at a senior level in a large, complex healthcare organization and/or a higher educational institution. The post holder will provide expert advice and guidance to the Trust on nursing, midwifery, and AHP education and is responsible for developing and maintaining close working relationships with external stakeholders and partners.
The post holder must be able to demonstrate significant experience in managing non-medical education both pre and post-registration. This includes experience of developing training programmes, teaching, managing budgets, income generation, and expenditure for the academy while supporting with other finance streams.
