I am a 16 year old boy living with my family and large dog in Neath. I am shy to start but very chatty and friendly once you get to know me. I can be cheeky and I like a joke, but I am also very direct and I have no filter.
I have Autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance Disorder and a language a learning disability. I suffer with my mental health which can lead to possible self harming. I can swear a lot when I’m angry and can become verbally abusive. I have asthma and also I am partially sighted in my right eye, which affects my reading but not my daily living.
I do enjoy playing the PlayStation and watching YouTube, but I am very energetic and mostly enjoy being out.
I am looking for a PA to take the time to get to know me, and support me with going out places I enjoy and carrying out activities I enjoy. This would include going for very long walks, going to the gym and on bike rides, visiting castles and ruins, going shopping and supporting me with my finances when we are out. The PA would need to correct me when I’m swearing and when I make inappropriate comments.

A person who:
Car driver is ESSENTIAL
Is physically fit and active and able to complete the activities that I enjoy
Enjoys walking and being outside
Has a strong personality who is not afraid to correct me
Experience of supporting someone with Autism is preferred
Someone not offended by swearing or inappropriate comments
Has a good sense of humour and enjoys banter
Is very understanding and has a good knowledge of mental health issues.
Will make suggestions rather than tell me what to do
Is trustworthy, reliable and punctual
Is caring, patient and understanding
Is friendly and chatty

Hours
6 hours to be worked either on a Saturday, Sunday or Wednesday.

If requested by the employer, two satisfactory references must be provided. This post is subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.
Wages will be paid on a 4 weekly or monthly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.
You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.
You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
