We now have the following vacancy based at Humberside Airport: Technical Services Engineer
Reports to: Continuing Airworthiness Manager / CAMO Engineers
Shifts: 0830 - 1600 (with some flexibility)
Role Purpose: Airworthiness and Technical Support for the Eastern Airways fleet of regional turboprop and twin turbofan aircraft.
Key responsibilities:
* AD, SB ownership including preliminary meetings and first document reviews
* Manage dent and buckle for managed fleet
* Evaluate tech queries
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting, including defect review/analysis and prescribing fault investigation.
* Liaise with TCH OEM DOA regarding modification, repairs, designs, STC updates
* Creation and amendment of ETR MMB and other EA documents and processes
* Control fleet TDR including cost implications and make recommendations and forecasts
* Monitor AMP for effectiveness for managed fleet
* Incorporation of MRBR, MPD revisions
* Implementation of recommendations from review of AD, SB and TCH docs
* Management of fleet through AMP
* Investigations and report writing
* Attend meetings as required as well as TCH MRBR, MPD conferences
* Monitor changes to regulations and initiate those within fleets
* Oversight of staff as per reporting hierarchy
* Review and predict component demand (based on failure rate, heavy check preload assessment) driving upcoming inputs
* AOG support and assistance
* Manage airframe download analysis and preventative program
* Maintenance input ownership including site visits, meetings, preloads, scheduled and unscheduled analysis based on historic data, post input reviews and recommendations for managed fleet
* Communications via reporting channels
* Assist Technical services team as required including analysis and closure of SMS and other reporting data
* Provide technical support to LMC, with the opportunity to occasionally provide LMC cover.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Mandatory:
* 2 years + civilian aviation experience
* A-level/NVQ L3 or equivalent
* Keen attention to detail
* Ambitious
* Previous CAMO experience
* Part-66 Licence with relevant types
* Completion of formal/UK CAA recognised training course
* Demonstrable competence in administration and analytics.
* Interest in aircraft/aviation
* Previous experience with Eastern Airways operated types.
