With our Head Office being in Ross-On-Wye it is a great opportunity to join an expanding national company in the local area. £23,795.20 - £25,000 Depending on experinece Hours - 40 per week Location - in Ross office full-time Job purpose To provide operational and administrative support in order to deliver an efficient and effective credit control and cash collection services to the various group business. Main duties and responsibilities Banking daily of incoming payments onto finance system Client set up on finance system(setting up new customers) Processing of the cheques Credit Checks Sending e-mail statements & reminders and copy invoices Credit notes (processing and updating spreadsheet) Chase customers for overdue payments via e-mail and telephone Tackling financial queries efficiently and effectively Liaison with colleagues to obtain information to enable payment Setting up Direct Debits client payments Answering telephone calls / emails Dealing with queries Investigating issues for non-payment Manual Upload of Jordan invoices Remittances (coding and updating spreadsheet) Assisting Senior Credit controller with queries and issues Person Specification Previous credit control experience preferable, however, a strong customer service background is also highly desirable GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths Meticulous approach to accuracy and reconciliation Ability to prioritise workload Excellent customer service and communication, both written and verbal Good working knowledge and application of PC skills, with experience of MS Office including Excel Ability to manage own workload including planning and organising multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to produce and understand data and reports Highly organised, with a keen eye for detail Works well under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines What we offer Company Pension Reward & Recognition platform, also offering retail discounts 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays Sick Pay after 12 months Mental Health & Well-being platform Referral bonuses To apply, please email your CV to: recruitmenthslcompliance.com
