We offer a variety of work which includes cardiac CT, perfusion CT, dedicated GA sessions in MR, MR arthrograms and angiography. The Trust is very supportive of trials, research and audit and we work closely with many areas in order to provide the best, timely service for all patients.
Radiographer duties include, scanning, record keeping, booking appointments and use of the RIS system, IV cannulation, and patient care activities, to name a few.
This position will suit a flexible, eager -to -learn and caring person with great communication skills. We would be willing to consider an Annex 21 training post for the right candidate.
An on site interview involving a presentation by the candidate will be required.
The successful candidate will be have knowledge and experience of CT & MRI and will work alongside our current team on the rota. Radiographers work in both CT and MR scanning. We work a shift pattern covering 24/7, 7 days a week. Staff are on-site for 12 hours at a time, in the vast majority of cases. Our staff work across multiple areas including the CDC for imaging.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is motivated to ensure that each patient receives a good experience from an understanding and friendly face! The team work hard to achieve this and patients are at the centre of all of our plans.
We have the beautiful Norfolk and Suffolk coastline on our doorstep with the beach within walking distance from the Trust. Norwich is a city of history, culture and entertainment only 20 miles away and the Norfolk Broads appeal to anyone wishing to escape the hustle and bustle. It really does suit all tastes!
The Trust is keen to support development where possible and there are many courses that are run in-house. External development pathways will also be considered and our current staff are evidence of this being the case.
