Responsibilities: As a Locum Therapy Assistant, you will support qualified therapists in providing therapeutic interventions to patients in the Emergency Department and Frailty Units. Key duties will include assisting with patient mobility, aiding in therapeutic exercises, supporting patient assessments, and helping patients with daily living activities. You will play an essential role in maintaining patient records, ensuring patient comfort, and supporting the rehabilitation process. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of care will also be a key aspect of your role. Qualifications and Experience: Experience working in an Emergency Department and Frailty Units is essential. Previous experience as a Therapy Assistant within a healthcare setting, preferably in the NHS. Ability to assist with rehabilitation plans and provide patient care.
