The town is facing significant changes and challenges with many new and quality developments occurring throughout the town, Planning Services is at the centre of much of what is happening. We are looking to recruit a Building Control Technical Officer within the Building Control team.
As part of your duties, you will play a key role in the admin function of the team, including dealing with the registration, validation and processing of applications, undertaking consultations, building and site history checks and dealing with technical admin duties. We are looking for an enthusiastic person ideally with some experience of Local Planning Authority Building Control functions, and who is a highly motivated individual who can demonstrate a “can-do” attitude with a creative approach to problem solving.
