Our client, a well established Marine Engineering company, is looking for Class 1 FCAW Welders to join their team throughout 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a long term refit project.
Suitable candidates must be NVQ Level 3 or Apprenticeship qualified and have a strong background in FCAW welding. Previous marine/ship repair experience would be ideal.
Successful applicants will be required to spend a week in the test bay ahead of their allocated start date, passing the following tests to proceed onto the project.
12mm Multi-pass Fillet Vertical Up position tests (BS-EN ISO 9606-1)
12mm Butt Vertical Up position tests (BS-EN ISO 9606-1)Full SC Clearance is required and once approved you will be taken through the clearance process so you must be eligible for this. If you already hold full SC clearance, we will ask you to obtain confirmation from the UKSV.

Umbrella rates (PAYE also available):
Day Shift - £34.50/h
Back Shift - £42/h
Sunday and Weekday Night Shift - £49/h
Sunday Back/Night Shift - £46/h
Hours - Min. 50 per week
