As a Health and Safety Advisor at SeAH Wind, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of our workforce as we drive forward a sustainable, green future. Working within our dynamic Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team, you will collaborate with experts from various disciplines, helping integrate health and safety standards into all stages of our renewable energy projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of health and safety policies. You will carry out risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections, ensuring that we proactively address hazards and implement necessary preventive measures. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors, you will ensure that safety is embedded into every stage of project planning and execution. Additionally, you will provide expert guidance on compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards, and lead investigations into any incidents, accidents, or near misses. Promoting a culture of safety, you will organise training, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns, while also continuously evaluating safety performance to drive improvement.
We are looking for candidates who have achieved the NEBOSH General Certificate or an equivalent qualification. You should have a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental principles, as well as risk management, and relevant legislation. Experience in heavy industry, construction, or renewable energy is highly desirable. The ability to collaborate across diverse teams and a passion for safety and environmental excellence are essential. Experience with ISO 14001, 45001, and 9001 standards is also beneficial.
