Occupational Health Advisor
The City Recruiter is hiring on behalf of our client, a growing provider of Occupational Health services, based at their modern, client-focused clinic in Centre Park, Warrington. With significant investment in new facilities, this exciting opportunity allows you to be part of a team offering a wide range of first-class Occupational Health services to patients and corporate clients.
Responsibilities
* Deliver the full Occupational Health provision, including medical assessments, health surveillance, phlebotomy, vaccinations, and advisory services.
* Liaise with health and safety teams to ensure all medical requirements are met.
* Communicate effectively with the OH Manager, Occupational Health Physician (OHP), clients, and all levels of personnel.
* Maintain a safe and professional working environment for all staff and visitors.
* Promote a positive and professional image of the company.
* Adhere to company standards and expectations.
* Mentor trainee nurses.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered General Nurse (RGN), active on the NMC register.
* Certificate in Immediate Life Support (ILS).
* Venepuncture and Cannulation skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Up-to-date certifications in:
* First Aid
* Spirometry
* Audiometry
* Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) assessments
* Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments
* Drug and alcohol screening
* Flu vaccination administration
Experience & Skills
* Previous Occupational Health experience.
* Ability to provide OH advice to a wide range of sectors, including construction, retail, transport, food manufacturing, and public services.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
* A sound understanding of HSE legislation and SOM standards.
* Confident in leading discussions and delivering workforce presentations.
* Proficient in Microsoft applications and computer-literate.
* Willingness to travel within the UK to provide occupational health support/advice and be based on client sites when required.
