Job Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily operations of the hostel, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
* Manage resident check-ins and check-outs, maintaining accurate records.
* Provide support and guidance to residents, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
* Organise and facilitate community events and activities to foster a sense of belonging.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hostel policies.
* Act as the first point of contact for residents, responding to queries and providing assistance as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of common areas and facilities.
* Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall resident experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a similar role or within a customer service environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy setting.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to hostel management.
* First Aid certification is desirable.
* A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive community atmosphere.
