Job summary Part-time position, Monday to Friday mornings, approximately 5 hours per day. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Prescription Clerk to join our General Practice team. The Prescription Clerk will be responsible for managing and processing prescription requests, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining accurate records. This role works closely with the Clinical Pharmacist Team to ensure medication safety, proper medication management, and that prescriptions are issued in accordance with clinical guidelines. Main duties of the job Prescription Processing: Accurately process and issue prescription requests from patients, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines and regulations. Handle repeat prescription requests, reviewing patient history and ensuring timely renewals.
