Cheshire East Educational Psychology Service and Specialist Teaching Teams are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated Business Manager at Grade 8, on a permanent basis (37 hours per week) based at Macclesfield Town Hall.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, co-ordinating and leading the business related support across all of Cheshire East that is directly linked to the Educational Psychology Service and Specialist Teaching Teams.
The EPS Business Manager will be responsible for planning, leading and coordinating all statutory and commissioned business requirements of the teams.
The post holder must have excellent IT skills, have a proven track record of impactful project work and finance.
Excellent interpersonal communication and organisational skills are absolutely essential as is the ability to work flexibly to adapt to changing demands with the ability to prioritise workloads.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Business Manager for the Educational Psychology Service will be responsible for managing, co-ordinating and leading business support across all of Cheshire East linked to the Educational Psychology Team and Specialist Teaching Teams. They will also be responsible for the planning, leading and coordinating of all statutory and business requirements of the Service.
ABOUT YOU
You will have:
* Experience of leading projects, managing financial and administrative systems, including information and data management/transfer.
* Experience in supervising and managing staff; this includes undertaking performance management reviews, coordinating tasks, and managing business needs to ensure service standards are met and outcomes are achieved.
* Experience in the recruitment process of staff; including supporting with inducting, leading, coaching and motivating staff.
* The ability to manage communication and responses to all enquiries from stakeholders (i.e., parents/carers, partner agencies, schools/settings, and the public).
* The ability to research and summarise key data to aid in supporting the service and producing various strategic and financial reports.
* Experience of working in a customer service environment.
* Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
* Experience of using various IT packages i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Databases.
* A flexible approach to work.
