The Royal Windsor Racecourse are looking to increase their culinary team with reliable, enthusiastic and experienced kitchen porters.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Basic food preparation handling
2. Washing up, cleaning and clearing all kitchen areas to a desirable standard
3. Receiving and unloading stock deliveries
4. Maintaining overall kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
5. Emptying waste bins, sweeping and mopping floors
6. Ensuring all equipment is clean and kitchen is organized
7. Deep cleaning fridges and stock rooms to adhere to kitchen safety standards
8. Kitchen experience is desirable
SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
9. Can operate basic kitchen appliances and equipment
10. Understanding of cleaning kitchen equipment
11. Understanding of the two stage cleaning process
12. Knowledge of kitchen health and safety
13. Knowledge of food hygiene practices
14. Good oral communication
15. Proficient in English language
16. Attention to detail
17. Positive and approachable manner
18. Team player qualities
