At Job&Talent, we are recruiting Shunter drivers to work with an important company in the Worksop. Pay Rates:
£13.18-with plenty of overtime opportunities available paid at x1.5 rate
Available Shifts:
* Tuesday- Saturday rotational 06.00-14.00/ next week 14:00-22:00 - from £13.18/hr
As a Shunter Driver you will need to have:
* Full Class 1 HGV driving license
* Experience in a Similar role ( shunter driver) would be beneficial but training is provided
* A self starter with a positive attitude, who is capable of working on own initiative
* Understanding of Supply Chain in the UK/I
Role of a Shunter driver:
1. Ensure full trailers are taken on and empty trailers take off the infeed docks in a timely manner as communicated by Operations.
2. Ensure empty trailers are on the relevant outbound docks and secured for loading.
3. Communicate with the Warehouse team to ensure drivers and sub-contractors are given the correct trailer for the movement they are scheduled to.
