This well-known and fast-growing firm is looking to add to their outsourcing department within their Farnham office. The role is to support the outsourcing senior in managing the bookkeeping process; it’s not just a traditional processing role. It will involve client contact and supporting the bookkeeping team.
What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
1. Supporting the Outsourcing Senior in managing the day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients as well as reconciliations of the main control accounts, including month-end reviews.
2. Preparing, reviewing, and filing VAT returns for various VAT schemes.
3. Providing support to clients on various bookkeeping/accounts packages.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
1. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience within accountancy practice.
2. AAT training.
3. Software usage: Xero, Sage, Quickbooks.
4. VAT experience.
5. CIS awareness.
6. Passionate about delivering great service and a high level of client care.
