Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools on the Wirral who are seeking an English Teacher for a long-term position starting on Monday 6th January. This post will continue until July 2025 covering a vacant position. Our client school is seeking an English Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4.
The successful English Teacher will be joining a department that believes that English is the foundation of all other subjects. The department wants pupils to enjoy their lessons, be challenged in their learning, strive to do their best, and be provided with the skills that they will need for their futures. Pupils are encouraged to think independently and develop their creativity skills. The subject provides skills necessary for future careers through inference, deduction, and written work. Students are encouraged to read for pleasure; reading is the key to accessing the curriculum in every subject.
Pay for this position is up to £223.62 per day, depending on experience.
To be considered for this English Teacher position based in Wirral, the essentials are:
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4
* Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
