Overview LRQA is seeking a passionate, detail oriented Product Owner ( Scrum Product Owner Role) with a strong understanding of web, mobile, and AI applications. The EiQ PO will play a major role in planning and developing data-driven applications that will transform the way brands and retailers assess and address risk in their supply chains and drive factory improvements by helping evolve our world leading EiQ platform and adjacent LRQA digital product development. The ideal product management candidate will be customer focused and commercially astute, display strength in both creative and analytical tasks, and be a self-starter who enjoys working cross-functionally to drive change and execution. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the LRQA ’s multi-functional / multi-national teams, includes Advisory Team, Assessment Team, Product Development, Analytics and I.T. teams to drive the planning and development of exceptional digital products that support our program effectiveness vision and enable responsible sourcing excellence for our multi-national clients. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver single/multiple workstreams and projects to ensure the in-life success of the accountable portfolio area. Actively engage with the market to get a clear understanding of the business issue for which products are ; proposes the best approach or combination of approaches to further insight creation. Create business cases for new developments or enhancements. Build close working relationships with sales, business unit operational and marketing teams and other key stakeholders (especially technical / data / product); align in-life product road maps with technical scheme road maps. Determines product requirements and customers’ need by gathering the user feedback and conducting the necessary research needed to define the necessary user journeys to create world class user experiences. Drive development, and delivery of digital products: Work with the Scrum team to deliver the product frequently that support the company strategy and product vision. Maintain a prioritized product backlog by creating user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for product feature requirements. Performs the role of Scrum Product Owner and p articipate in all Scrum events like Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospectives and Refinement meetings. Monitor and review development progress, QA, and documentation throughout process, ensuring success – while ensuring clear communication and managing expectation with key stakeholders. Own and drive feature acceptance testing and facilitate user acceptance testing activities where. Work with the wider I.T. and product teams to drive implementation of integration with internal and external systems, ensuring data security and integrity at every step. Establish benchmarks for determining impact of releases, showing improvements to selected metrics and performance indicators. Drive digital product features launch: Oversee product trials with support from the relevant teams and works closely with testing teams to ensure quality. Develop product related user training materials, and support other go-to-market activities. Work closely with the customer experience team and operational teams to improve the customer experience for the digital products. Contribute to the development and evolution of internal Product and I .T. processes and way of working. Qualifications 10 years’ experience as digital Product Owner / Product Manager Experience of digital products and the wider digital technology environment Deep product management experience with formal product management techniques, tools, and principals involved in planning and delivering new products and services. Demonstrable record of leading cross-functional teams and nurturing talented junior colleagues. Experience in Agile software delivery and Scrum Product Owner Role. Experience in managing a sizable RFP for SaaS Solutions. Strong technical expertise and understanding of major software concepts, engineering background. Proven experience leading the evolution / maintenance of complex, data-driven solutions, and platforms. Proven track record of delivery and work with multiple teams located in different offices and time zones. Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling meetings and interactions to accommodate different time zones Product development experience and comfort working against ambitious targets. Strong product mindset, organization and presentation skills with a passion for product and excellence. Track record for engaging internally and externally at senior executive and C-Suite level, and in a multi-national, multi-cultural team. Clear communicator with ability to inform stakeholders, and guide teams with meaningful feedback to ensure product delivery and drive ongoing improvements. Ability to roll up your sleeves and try different things with minimal direction. Hands on experience in Agile management tool like Azure DevOps, Confluence and Jira.
