We are currently recruiting for a Product Coordinator to join our team on our Kevington Midlands site in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire. The successful candidate will be the key communicator for Ibstock Kevington Midlands Mechslip product. Mechslip is a Mechanically fixed brick slip system produced under a JV agreement between the UK's leading brick producer Ibstock PLC and the successful aluminium and steel envelope provider Ash and Lacy. Market growth over the product life has been exponential; supplying the Uk's tallest buildings with brick faced fa?ades, with the confidence and backing of these 2 major companies. Key Responsibilities Include: Undertaking daily communication and management of the Mechslip product. Working closely with Production and Quality teams to maintain and manage product supply and quality. Working closely with Supply Chain partners and material suppliers in a busy environment, providing precise scheduling and site communication. Ensuring critical supply management of the product to our leading customers. Engaging with stakeholders using initiative and open communication. Key Skills & Requirements: IT Skills including specific use and experience with JDEdwards and Excel. Support can be provided however prior knowledge is desirable. Good analytical skills, enabling spreadsheet coordination and construction knowledge. Understanding of best practice behaviours and implementation to support ongoing quality analysis. Support the upper management team in instigating improved procedure. Proven ability to communicate with suppliers and customers at a high level. Brick product knowledge and understanding of tolerances and physical constraints. Knowledge of current Health & safety and environmental legislation Essential Qualifications & Experience: UK Brick manufacturing knowledge Suitable ISO14001 knowledge Ability to work under pressure and remain controlled and consistent. Ability to understand production techniques and processes. Ability to work flexible hours. Knowledge of site procedure and practice. Full UK Driving licence Think you can make a difference?
