Location: Oxford Brookes University
Rate of pay: From £27,000 to £30,000 per annum
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Sunday
Key responsibilities:
1. Responsible for running 2-3 outlets and ensuring that the service and operation is delivered in line with G&G standards, the client’s expectations, and achieving all set financial targets and budgets.
2. Report to and assist the Operations Manager with ongoing projects.
3. Identify, motivate, train, develop, and direct the team to deliver exceptional results and accomplish goals and projects.
4. Drive a culture of excellence throughout the business with a passion for quality food preparation and taste.
5. Lead, develop & mentor a team of Baristas, Team Leaders, and General assistants.
6. Support each site with the day-to-day management of the contract ensuring that all client expectations are surpassed, providing innovation and training.
7. Oversee GP, Rotas/Labour, Controllable Costs, Compliance for their units, and implement strategies to control costs. Must possess solid financial knowledge.
8. Build consistency of the offer and service across the estate, continually reviewing standards and processes.
9. Identify additional opportunities for improvements and collaborate with the Operations Manager to implement new ways of enhancing our presence.
10. Manage client and stakeholder relationships while ensuring contractual compliance and adherence to company policies.
11. Work with the entire site management team and the chefs to ensure that client expectations of food and food service are consistently delivered to the highest standards and in line with CH&CO food values.
