Job Description Architectural Technician in Essex? I am working with a well-established architectural firm based in the Chelmsford area who are looking for a intermediate or senior architectural technician to join their team.This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of residential schemes for developers, contributing to high-quality housing projects from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities: Producing detailed technical drawings and construction packages using AutoCAD Collaborating with architects and project teams to develop residential designs Ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and planning policies Liaising with consultants, contractors, and local authorities Assisting in the coordination of technical design and construction detailing Requirements: Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) Experience with Revit (desirable but not essential) Strong understanding of UK building regulations and planning processes Experience working on residential projects (developer-led schemes preferred) Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Drivers license, with own car within an hours travel of the office Salary will be based on ability and experience but is expected to be between £35,000 - £40,000.
