Multi Skilled Engineering Tutor - Interviewing ASAP

Location: Based at the Crewe centre, Cheshire
Are you an experienced Engineer Tutor with coaching, mentoring, and tutoring experience? Have you assessed Level 3 apprentices on the Engineering Technician standard - Mechatronics pathway and Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (MOET) - Electrical and mechanical pathways?
Your Role: As an Engineering Tutor, you will support apprentices in developing their knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for their apprenticeship. This includes coaching and mentoring sessions, and knowledge delivery through teaching sessions in our classroom and workshops in Crewe. You will be required to teach in both the classroom and workshop environment, complete guidance, and mock end point assessments to ensure that apprentices are ready for the independent assessment at the end of their apprenticeship.
You will work closely with other Learning Coaches to ensure that the skills and knowledge learnt in the classroom are embedded in the workplace. You will engage in discussions with employers to build good relationships and keep all parties updated on the apprentice's journey through progress reviews. The role requires embedding maths and English into your delivery to ensure learners without the required level of Functional Skills or equivalent can pass the exams.

Key Responsibilities include:
1. Fulfil teaching commitments in both classroom and workshop environments.
2. Manage and maintain a caseload of learners as agreed with your line manager and carry out regular learner interventions.
3. Ensure evidence for learning, achievement, funding, and Ofsted is captured effectively and timely.
4. Meet and record 20% OJT requirements as per procedure.
5. Help learners achieve the highest grade in EPA they are capable of.
6. Progress learners using Onefile, setting targets for Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours.
7. Develop individualised learning programmes, agreed with employer and learner based on initial assessments, including Maths and English.
8. Engage the learner's line manager, clarifying their responsibilities and working collaboratively to provide support, guidance, and opportunities for learning.
9. Plan the end point assessment process with learners and employers, ensuring preparation and practice is included in the learning plan.
10. Inspire and motivate learners, identifying barriers and adapting to their needs.
11. Deliver Maths and English (and ICT where applicable) to support learner achievement and progress.
12. Ensure accurate marking and feedback to support learner development.
13. Motivate and drive learners to achieve their qualifications on time.
We need you to have:
1. Relevant occupational sector experience and qualifications (at a level 3 or higher).
2. Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths, and ICT or equivalent, or willingness to undertake.
3. Ability to deliver high quality, effective coaching that meets learner needs.
4. Ability to deliver engaging and interactive teaching in the workshop.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills, understanding the importance of audience focus to support learning.
6. Ability to plan with attention to detail and a track record in developing and delivering effective plans that achieve KPIs and strategic aims.
7. Proactively drive learner performance and engagement.
8. Customer-focused, presenting Total People positively, with persuasive and influencing skills.
9. Seek continuous improvement in processes and implement changes.
10. Teaching qualification (Cert Ed/CTTLS/DTTLS/EAT/PGCE or equivalent).
Desirable:
1. Coaching qualification.
2. Knowledge of Government funded training.
3. TAQA, AVA, A1 or D32/33 Assessor Qualification.
