Join our Oncology Drug Sterilisation Specialist Team within UK Operations, where you'll be a part of the larger UK Ops function within the Operations organisation. The Oncology Drug Sterilisation Specialist Team is responsible for all aspects of sterile manufacturing process and continuous improvements across all the Sterile Pharmaceutical Plants at Macclesfield. We are seeking an individual with experience in Moist Heat, Dry Heat and Radiation Sterilisation processes. You will be Maintaining the validated status of sterilisation processes, managing local changes, continuous improvement and problem solving.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will be expected to own a schedule of steriliser qualifications across various plants and departments, draft and obtain approval of qualification programmes, and ensure completion of experimental/validation work. You will lead problem solving and correction of problems associated with sterilisation issues, contributing to improving the compliance of the manufacturing operation with continuous improvement activities or projects, and assist in the implementation of new equipment, systems and procedures.
Essential Skills/Experience:
1. Good verbal and written communication skills
2. Effective networking skills
3. Good numerate and literate skills with a detailed approach to problem solving
4. High levels of concern for standards and attention to detail
5. Self-motivating and proactive approach
6. Experience in aseptic production environment
7. Relevant experience of steriliser operation and validation
8. Experience of working in a GMP environment
9. Understanding of managing new processes in the sterilisation process
Desirable Skills/Experience:
10. Scientific/technical degree background
