Our client is an independent water safety consultant and provider of Legionella Risk Assessments, consultancy & training services for all aspects of water hygiene, currently looking for a Service Engineer to become part of their committed team.
In the role of Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the safety and compliance of water systems across multiple locations. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in water hygiene, possess meticulous attention to detail, and a dedication to providing exceptional service. Your primary work location will be in the Southern Region (M4 Corridor), with occasional travel required throughout the UK.
Service Engineer compensation package:
1. £24,000 - £30,000 per annum
2. A company vehicle and fuel card

Key responsibilities of the Service Engineer will include:
1. Performing routine water monitoring, which encompasses temperature assessments, sampling, and inspections of water systems.
2. Executing disinfections and cleanings of water systems in accordance with industry regulations.
3. Aiding in the preparation of reports and ensuring that all documentation remains accurate and current.
4. Offering clients practical advice and recommendations based on prevailing regulations and guidelines.
5. Participating in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your expertise.
Requirements for the Service Engineer position:
1. A full UK driving licence is required, along with a willingness to travel.
2. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a comparable water hygiene role.
3. Capability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. A plumbing qualification would be beneficial.
